GEAR AID ZIPPER LUBRICANT, 2 fl oz (59 ml)
We have received and tested zipper lubricants from many manufacturers. Gear Aid’s is hands-down the Best in Class. While many zipper lubricants are an oil, Gear Aid’s Zipper Lubricant is a viscous gel which settles across the entire zipper surface. The container is also extremely well designed (just like your Arxus boots!!). A bristled, dry brush top allows you to clean the zipper of dirt and dust. (Heavy dirt or mud should be washed off with water prior to lubrication.) After cleaning the zipper, the dry brush top is lifted slightly from the container. This allows the gel lubricant to then flow to the brush top where it is spread across the entire zipper surface. After use, press the brush top down to close the container again. (Note: there is a cap between the container and the brush top which must be removed prior to the first use.)
We recommend lubricating all Arxus boots with zippers as needed with Gear Aid’s Zipper Lubricant. Never use force or tools to raise or lower the zipper. When zippers no longer slide easily up or down, it’s time to lubricate them.
